About Elyssa Reilly
Elyssa is an experienced paediatric speech pathologist with over 20 years of clinical practice working in both Australia and the United Kingdom. She graduated from the University of Queensland in 2003 with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology and is a certified practising speech pathologist (CPSP) who undertakes regular professional development to ensure her practice remains current, evidence-based, and aligned with best-practice standards.
Elyssa specialises in early language intervention, speech sound disorders and literacy development and has completed extensive training in literacy assessment and intervention. This enables her to diagnose and support learning difficulties such as dyslexia and dysgraphia, ensuring children receive accurate assessment and effective intervention.
Her practice is warm, collaborative, and deeply family-centred. As both a clinician and a parent, she understands that therapy must be practical, realistic, and easily integrated into busy family routines. She focusses on strategies that naturally fit into everyday moments—playtime, mealtimes, school routines, or time spent travelling—so families feel confident supporting their child’s progress.
Elyssa works closely with families to create personalised, meaningful intervention plans that honour each child’s strengths and needs. Her goal is to empower parents, build children’s confidence, and provide therapy that is engaging, purposeful, and leads to lasting success. She looks forward to supporting your child’s communication and learning journey.
